How is the inheritance divided among a father, a mother, a maternal grandmother, two brothers, and two sisters?

If the deceased left no heirs except a mother, father, siblings, and a grandmother, then the mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of siblings, as Allah Almighty says: "But if he has brothers [or sisters], the mother will have one-sixth." The remainder goes to the father by virtue of 'asabah (agnatic relationship), as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Give the shares to those who are entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the nearest male." The siblings receive nothing because they are completely excluded by the father. The grandmother receives nothing because she is completely excluded by the mother. Thus, the inheritance is divided into six shares: one share for the mother and five shares for the father. It is recommended to consult Sharia courts regarding inheritance matters.
