What is the reality of eating when there is desirable food as a permissible excuse for not attending congregational prayer, and is it among the permissible excuses for not attending it?

If food is present, the Sunnah is to begin with it before prayer, because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No prayer when food is present, nor when one is دفع by the two impurities (urine and stool)." And the craving of the soul for food is a permissible excuse for not attending congregational prayer. The mufti is not required to mention all permissible excuses for not attending congregational prayer when answering a specific partial question.
