Is it permissible to sell a white wedding dress and use its price to send one's father to perform Umrah?

It is permissible to sell a wedding dress to benefit from its price for 'Umrah or other purposes, provided that the dress is permissible for a woman to wear (modest and not resembling the attire of disbelieving women), and that it is not sold to someone who is thought to wear it in front of non-mahram men. If these conditions are met, then it is permissible to sell it; otherwise, it is not.
