Is the following Hadith authentic: "A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: 'I am poor.' He said: 'Marry.' Then he came again and said: 'I am poor.' He said: 'Marry.' And so it continued until he married a fourth wife, and Allah made him rich," and what is its chain of narration if it is?

This exact wording has not been reported. The closest to it is the hadith of Jabir ibn Abdullah in the history of Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi: "A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) complaining of poverty, so he commanded him to marry," but its chain of narration is not sound. There are also reports with the same meaning from the Companions, some of which are sound as mawquf (stopped at the Companion). The Holy Quran suffices for this, as Allah Almighty says: "And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing."
