How can one reconcile the Hadith: "Whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so," with the Hadith: "There are three whom it is a right upon Allah to help: the one who strives in the cause of Allah, the indentured servant who desires to pay off his freedom, and the one who marries seeking chastity," especially concerning how Allah helps the one who desires to marry yet cannot afford it?

The first Hadith (definition) guides youth to initiate marriage when they are able, meaning they have the capacity for its expenses and for intercourse. "Al-ba'ah" signifies intercourse or the provisions for marriage. The second Hadith promises Allah's assistance to whoever marries seeking chastity, and that Allah will enrich him from His bounty, as indicated by the Holy Quran, the Prophetic Hadiths, and the sayings of the Companions. This promise of enrichment is for the married person who seeks marriage in obedience to Allah, lowering his gaze and guarding his private parts.
