In Creed: Al-Usul Ath-Thalatha (The Three Fundamental Principles) and Kitab At-Tawhid (The Book of Monotheism), then At-Tahawiyyah and As-Saffariniyyah. In Fiqh: Al-Fiqh Al-Muyassar (Simplified Fiqh), then a madhhab text such as Dalil At-Talib or Zad Al-Mustaqni', then the more extensive works. In Usul al-Fiqh: Matn Al-Waraqat, then the broader works. In Tafsir: Aysar At-Tafasir (The Easiest Interpretations), then Tafsir Ibn Kathir and Al-Baghawi. Do not neglect the aspect of ethics and spiritual purification by reading Mukhtasar Minhaj Al-Qasidin and Ad-Da' wa Ad-Dawa' (The Disease and the Cure).
