How can a mother protect her children from bad morals, dangers, and calamities? Are there any supplications or Ruqyah for that? What is the guidance of the Sunnah and the Quran to alleviate her fear? What advice can be given to her to deal with her nervousness?
Anxiety dissipates with reliance upon Allah, having a good opinion of Him, and knowing that everything is by divine decree. It is recommended to take the legitimate means to protect and discipline children. One should frequently supplicate for their rectitude, especially the supplication: ﴿Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes﴾ [Al-Furqan: 74]. The rectitude of a servant preserves their children, as indicated by the story of Al-Khidr with Musa, and His saying, the Almighty: ﴿And let those [disbelieveers] fear if they left behind them weak offspring, they would fear for them. So let them fear Allah and speak words of appropriate counsel.﴾ [An-Nisa: 9]. The remedy for anger has been explained in previous fatwas.
