What is the expiation for one who threw the Jamarat on the twelfth day of Dhul-Hijjah before dawn in order to hasten departure, and is it incumbent upon him to inform the nurses whom he supervised, and does expiation become binding upon them, and can fasting or feeding substitute for the ransom?

It is not permissible to stone the Jamarat during the days of Tashreeq before dawn breaks. A pilgrim who does so must offer a sacrifice (dam) to be slaughtered in the Haram and distributed among its poor. If unable to do so, he must fast for ten days. The doctor must inform the nurses of their error, as they were negligent in learning and inquiring about the rituals of Hajj.
