Not appreciating Allah's blessings warns of their removal, and quick repentance is obligatory. One should look to consequences, not present pleasures, for what the questioner seeks is among the grave sins. He must constantly seek refuge in Allah, remember Him, and associate with the righteous. The treatment of one's wife and child must be with kindness, for Allah Almighty says: "And live with them in kindness," and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Each of you is a guardian and is responsible for his flock." And if what he suffers from is envy, then he is advised to perform ruqyah (Islamic exorcism).
