What is the ruling on photographing the face of the deceased in the shroud for remembrance?

Scholars have differed on the ruling of photographing animate beings with a device, and they have permitted it for a benefit, whether the subject is living or dead. However, it is more befitting for a Muslim to refrain from photographing and instead to achieve remembrance by visiting graves and reflecting on the circumstances and destinies of their inhabitants.
