The answer

The belief of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab regarding the Names and Attributes [of Allah] was the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama'ah and the righteous predecessors (al-Salaf al-Salih), which is based on believing in what Allah has described Himself with in His Book and through the tongue of His Messenger, peace be upon him, without distortion (tahrif), negation (ta'til), asking how (takyeef), or likening (tamthil), citing His statement, the Exalted: ﴿There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.﴾ He himself explicitly stated this belief, and in "Kitab al-Tawhid" he clearly affirmed the invalidity of denying the Names and Attributes and their affirmation, contrary to the Ash'ariyyah who negate them.
