What is the wisdom behind Allah’s describing Himself with attributes similar to those of humans, such as the hand, hastening, laughter, anger, foot, and the bearers of the Throne?

Allah Almighty possesses supreme names and attributes, which are tawqeefiyyah (revealed and not subject to human reasoning) and can only be derived from the Quran and Sunnah. Allah Almighty has described Himself with attributes such as: The All-Knowing (Al-'Alim), The All-Hearing (As-Sami'), and The All-Seeing (Al-Basir), even though created beings may be described with attributes similar in name. However, Allah's knowledge, power, hearing, and sight differ fundamentally from the attributes of created beings. Therefore, Allah cannot be likened to His creation ("There is nothing like unto Him"). Imam Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Khuzaymah denied the claim of anthropomorphism (tashbeeh) against Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah.

As for the wisdom behind Allah being characterized by these attributes and humans being described with attributes that share the "gender" of these attributes, it can be said: 1. Allah's possession of His attributes is an absolute perfection befitting Him alone. Whoever does not possess these perfections is not fit to be a god. 2. Naming Allah with attributes that are also applied to humans, despite the difference in meaning, is for the necessity of people's understanding. Allah revealed His book in the language of the Arabs so that they could comprehend its meanings; otherwise, they would not have understood anything. The general meaning of the attribute (such as knowledge, hearing, and sight) is the common ground that people understand, even though the reality of these attributes for Allah is completely different from that of creation.
