The answer

Allah has exclusively granted the Prophet the wasilah (a high station in Paradise) and preferred him because He bestows His grace upon whomever He wills, and He is not to be questioned about what He does. The heart of the Prophet, peace be upon him, was found to be the purest and most perfect of hearts. As for the claim that a righteous man might accumulate more good deeds than him, this is false, for every good deed performed by the Ummah is due to him and his teachings. He was the first to call to guidance, and he will receive the reward of everyone who follows him.
