What is the cure for sorcery, envy, and demonic possession, and what is the ruling on going to sorcerers with the intention of doing good, and what are the saving verses (ayat al-munjiyat), and what is the cure for sadness over losing the first fiancée despite marrying someone else?

The cure for sorcery (sihr), envy (hasad), and possession (mass) is through Ruqyah Shariah (Islamic incantations), supplication (du'a), and bathing with water used by the person who cast the evil eye if they are known, or by using Sidr leaves. It is forbidden to go to sorcerers and ask them about matters of sorcery, for Ibn Mas'ud said: "Whoever comes to a sorcerer, or a soothsayer, or a diviner, and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." As for the cure for sadness, it is through supplication. The entire Quran is salvation and guidance, and there are no specific verses named "The Saving Verses."
