What is the correct course of action regarding problems and dreams that indicate sorcery, while being certain of the prohibition of resorting to sorcerers and charlatans?

We advise you to diligently observe the restricted and unrestricted remembrances (dhikr), and to recite the Quran frequently, especially Surat Al-Baqarah, Al-Ikhlas, and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn. For Surat Al-Baqarah, "taking it is a blessing and leaving it is a regret, and the sorcerers cannot confront it." And "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad (Say: He is Allah, [the] One) and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn (the two surahs of seeking refuge) recited three times in the morning and three times in the evening will suffice you against everything." And frequently ask of Allah, maintain congregational prayers, adhere to acts of obedience, and abstain from sins. It is impermissible to accuse anyone of sorcery without clear proof, nor to believe elderly women in this regard.
