What is the ruling on working in conventional insurance companies such as Misr Insurance and Al-Ahliya Insurance?

It is not permissible to work for companies that are based on sin and aggression. If one advises a suitor to distance himself from forbidden work and to repent to Allah, and if he responds and repents with sincere repentance, then it is permissible to marry him. However, if he does not respond, or if one is not confident in his repentance, then she should turn away from him, for Allah will compensate her with someone better than him.
