Is it permissible to continue working at an insurance company and a bank that deal with usury, especially given difficult family circumstances and the unavailability of an alternative job, and what is the ruling on money saved from this work?

It is not permissible to work in an insurance company that does not adhere to Sharia (definition) guidelines, especially if the work involves assisting in the forbidden, such as helping with promotion. Rather, one must resign immediately. Allah will compensate with something better anyone who fears Him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, you will not abandon anything for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, except that Allah will replace it with something better for you." The money earned from this work must be disposed of by spending it on public interests or giving it to the poor if you are poor.
