What is the Sharia ruling on a husband's absence from his wife and children for a week as punishment for her not inviting his other wife to a wedding, claiming he swore an oath to do so?

The man must treat his wife kindly, deal with her honorably, and bear with what comes from her, for perfection is not imagined in a woman, and her nature contains crookedness, as stated in the Hadith: "Treat women kindly, for woman was created from a crooked rib." Not inviting the relatives of the second wife to a wedding celebration is not a right of the husband that warrants discipline or abandoning the wife.
