To what extent is obedience to parents obligatory if their desire to postpone Hajj for the sake of university study conflicts with the son's desire to perform Hajj next year?

Hajj is obligatory immediately for those who are financially and physically able. Obedience to parents is not required if they command one to abandon or postpone it, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to Allah Almighty." Similarly, one is not obligated to acquire the financial capability for Hajj; rather, Hajj becomes obligatory for those who already possess the capability, and they are not required to actively seek to obtain it.
