The answer

If one has the means to perform Hajj, it is obligatory to hasten to do so before obstacles arise; as the Prophet said: "Whoever intends to perform Hajj, let him hasten to do so, for he might fall ill, lose his riding animal, or face a need." Not traveling for Hajj is not considered disobedience if there is someone to serve the parents, and it is preferable to seek their permission. However, if they refuse this obligation, then there is no obedience to them; as the Prophet said: "Obedience is only in what is good and right."
