Is the one who practices masturbation considered sinful despite his diligence in performing the obligatory duties and abstaining from forbidden acts?

It is advisable to seek Allah's help and thank Him for the success in repenting from the habit. One should occupy their time with beneficial knowledge, productive work, sports, memorizing the Quran, and gaining a deep understanding of the religion, all while being conscious of Allah's constant watch. Emphasized also are marriage, if possible, or fasting for those who cannot, frequent supplication with transmitted prayers, reading books of encouragement and deterrence, utilizing specialized resources, consulting doctors about stimulating or calming foods, avoiding solitude, and associating with righteous company.
