The answer

It is not permissible for a woman to leave her house wearing perfumed clothes from which people can smell her fragrance, whether she applied it herself or it clung to her garment from another garment; because the intent is that she should not go out perfumed so as not to tempt others. If she wishes to go out with it, she must remove the scent, otherwise, she would be sinning. As for necessity, it permits the prohibited, but it is restricted to a situation where a person reaches the point of perishing or is close to it, or faces unbearable hardship.
