The answer

If the cosmetic surgery is necessary to remove a disfiguring and obvious defect that is out of the ordinary, there is no objection to performing it, because it is not considered an alteration of Allah's creation that is forbidden. This is supported by the story of Arfajah ibn As'ad, whose nose was severed, and he adopted a nose of gold by the command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. However, if it is for no necessity, then it is a sin and a response to the command of Satan to alter Allah's creation.
