Is the heart's reassurance regarding a fatwa on the purity of alcohol, supported by evidence from the Qur'an and Sunnah, considered following dispensations (rukhas)?

The majority of scholars consider perfumes containing alcohol (khamr) to be impure, unless the alcohol transforms into another substance. This is the view of the four Imams and the Dhahiris, and it is supported by evidence. It is permissible for the questioner to adopt the view of those who have ruled on the purity of alcohol if she trusts their knowledge and is reassured by their fatwa. However, if she is capable of examining the evidence, she should adopt the view whose evidence she finds more compelling.
