Circumcision is prescribed for women as a recommended act, based on the generality of the Hadith: "The Fitra (natural inclination) is five," and among them, circumcision was mentioned. Female circumcision was present during the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as evidenced by the Hadith: "When the two circumcised parts meet, then Ghusl (ritual bath) becomes obligatory."
