A woman experiencing istihaadah should refer to her previous habit, considering it menstruation, and anything else as istihaadah. If she does not have a previous habit, she should consider black blood as menstruation, provided it is not less than twenty-four hours. If the black blood stops and she sees yellowish discharge, she should perform ghusl and pray.
