If madhiy (prostatic fluid) has been discharged for several days and not cleaned, is it sufficient to remove the traces of madhiy and then wash the penis and testicles once, or must they be washed multiple times for each instance of madhiy discharged during those days?

The majority of scholars hold that washing the penis and testicles is not obligatory for the emission of madhy (pre-seminal fluid); rather, it suffices to wash the area of impurity. However, the Hanbalis are of the view that it is obligatory to wash both the penis and testicles together with a single wash. One wash is sufficient for madhy to purify the area. If a person prays with the impurity of madhy due to ignorance or forgetfulness, his prayers are valid. But if he intentionally prays without istinja' (washing after relieving oneself), his prayers are invalid and he must make them up.
