What should I do about inadvertently missing two rak'ahs before Fajr and realizing it the next day?

Scholars have differed regarding one who missed the two rak'ahs of Fajr: whether he should pray them after the Fajr prayer or if their prayer is not prescribed until after sunrise. This is what the Malikis and some Hanafi jurists adopted. The Shafi'is and Hanbalis hold that it is prescribed to make them up after Fajr without specification.
