What is the radical cure for envy, and how can one take from the trace of the envier, as narrated from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, taking into consideration listening to ruqyah, anointing with olive oil over which Quran has been recited, and bathing with water over which Quran has been recited and to which musk has been added?

The most effective means of protection against envy (hasad) are adherence to acts of obedience (to Allah), persistence in seeking refuge (with Allah), and asking Allah for well-being morning and evening. The most important of these are reciting Surah Al-Ikhlas and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas) three times in the morning and evening, and saying: "In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing" three times in the morning and evening, and the supplication: "O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter..." (the rest of the hadith). Ruqyah Sharia (Islamic exorcism/healing) is prescribed for the afflicted.

If the envier (al-'ain) is known, he should be asked to perform ghusl (ritual washing), and he must comply. He should perform wudu' (ablution) and then the afflicted person should be washed with the water from his ghusl. The envier can be compelled to perform ghusl if he refuses, especially if there is a fear of demise for the afflicted, because healing is contingent upon his action. As for taking something from the envier's personal effects and placing it in water for the afflicted person to wash with, there is no basis for this, neither legally (in Sharia) nor rationally. What is authentically narrated is the washing of his (the envier's) limbs and the inside of his izar (lower garment).
