It is permissible to supplicate against an oppressor to the extent of their injustice, based on the Almighty’s saying: "Allah does not like the public utterance of evil, except by one who has been wronged." An example of this is Sa'id ibn Zayd's supplication against Arwa bint Uways. Among the forms of supplication against an oppressor is: "O Allah, protect me from the evil of so-and-so however You wish." However, patience and forgiveness are preferable and better, for the Almighty says: "But indeed, if one shows patience and forgives, that is indeed an affair of great resolution," and His saying: "And if you are patient, it is better for the patient."
