Is it permissible to supplicate against someone who wronged me, revealed my secret, insulted me, and falsely accused me, asking for the loss of his position, and for Allah to take revenge on him in his studies, family, health, and wealth? And will I be rewarded by Allah if I forgive him?

Forgiving the oppressor is one of the highest stations. However, if the oppressed chooses to supplicate against the oppressor, he is permitted to do so, provided that he does not exceed the bounds in his supplication. This means that the supplication should not exceed the extent of the injustice, and he should not supplicate for disobedience or disbelief upon him.

Therefore, it is not permissible to supplicate against the oppressor concerning things by which he did not wrong you, such as his health or studies. Nor is it permissible to supplicate against his family or father. Rather, it is only permissible to supplicate against him in a way that matches his injustice, such as supplicating that he experiences what he inflicted upon you.
