Is what was mentioned in "Al Jazeera Documentary" true about a huge rock approaching collision with Earth, and is there any reassurance for Muslims regarding this news?

Discussions regarding the timing of the Hour's advent have two aspects: First, affirming or refuting the report. Second, the Muslim's stance on such reports.

First: What geologists have mentioned in this regard is not definitively proven to be true; rather, it is mere conjecture. Even if it were assumed to be based on knowledge, it is not permissible for it to lead to a belief that fixes the time of the Hour's advent, as this is something Allah has kept exclusively to His knowledge.

Second: The attitude our Messenger taught us is to focus on righteous deeds and be concerned with what we present for ourselves, and not to let preoccupation with expecting the Hour distract us from preparing for it with good deeds. It is narrated in the Sahihayn from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about the Hour, saying: "When is the Hour?" He replied: "What have you prepared for it?" The man said: "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him)." He said: "You will be with whom you love." The Messenger directed the questioner towards righteous deeds and not to be preoccupied with the time of the Hour's advent. Furthermore, when any one of us dies, his own Hour has come, and this Hour is near, because human life is limited and short. So, one should not be preoccupied with possibilities over what is certain and imminent.
