Will the world end (will the Day of Resurrection occur) in 2012?

Allah has kept the knowledge of the Hour exclusively to Himself, and has not disclosed it to anyone, as He says: "They ask you about the Hour, when is its appointed time? Say, 'Its knowledge is only with my Lord.'" What soothsayers and diviners spread about the timing of the Hour is deceit and falsehood, and a Muslim should not be preoccupied with it.
