What is the ruling on resorting to intercession to gain admission to the university after it was impossible to do so through one's own efforts?

The basic principle regarding intercession (wāsiṭah) is permissibility, rather, it is even recommended if it is for a rightful cause, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Intercede, and you will be rewarded." Accordingly, there is no impediment to seeking intercession as long as it does not involve taking the right of another, upholding falsehood, or nullifying truth.
