Is it permissible for a wife to object to her husband?

A husband's right over his wife is great due to his role of Qawamah (guardianship/maintainership), which entails looking after their worldly and religious interests. Therefore, Allah has made it incumbent upon the wife to obey her husband. This obedience is restricted by the limits and etiquette of Sharia. Thus, it is not obligatory in matters that contravene Sharia, or that harm the wife, or that exceed her capacity. Nor is it obligatory except in matters of marriage and its related affairs. A wife has the right to object if her husband orders her to do something that violates Sharia or something in which she is not obliged to obey him, bearing in mind that the foundation of the relationship between spouses is love, mercy, and understanding.
