The answer

'Eid prayer for women is (recommended), not obligatory. They should pray it in the musalla (prayer ground) with the Muslims. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded that women, even those menstruating, be brought out to witness the supplication of the Muslims, with the menstruating women staying away from the musalla itself. It is a condition for women's going out that they be covered and not display their adornments. As for boys who have reached the age of discernment, their going out for the prayer is permissible.
