Is the money that a wife takes from a man whom neither of them sees, and their relationship is limited to phone calls, lawful or unlawful?

The questioner must sever ties with the foreign man, because speaking with him, if it involves a soft manner of speech, is forbidden by consensus, based on the Almighty's saying: "Then do not be soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech." It is also impermissible to accept financial aid from him, as it is a means to what Allah has forbidden. There is no good in money earned through unlawful means, and whoever consumes it will incur Allah's punishment, and their prayers will not be answered, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah is good and accepts only what is good... Then he mentioned a man who undertakes a long journey, disheveled and dusty, extending his hands to the heavens, saying, 'O Lord, O Lord,' while his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing is unlawful, and he is nourished by unlawful means. How then can his supplication be answered?" And "Whoever's flesh grows from unlawful earnings, the Fire is more befitting for him." What is meant by unlawful earnings is every forbidden gain. What the questioner has taken through this forbidden channel must be disposed of. It is preferable to give it to charitable organizations, such as sponsoring orphans, while increasing good deeds.
