The answer

It is permissible to curse and condemn evil and to warn against it. Allah has described shirk (associating partners with Allah) as a great sin and a great injustice. He has also described intoxicants, gambling, idolatrous altars, and divining arrows as an abomination of Satan's handiwork, and pork as an abomination, and adultery as an indecency and an evil way. Likewise, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury and the thief. It is permissible to curse the perpetrators of evil for their evil, unless it leads to a greater corruption, in which case it is not permissible, due to Allah’s saying: "And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge."
