Is the person who curses and insults people who curse Islam, after having tried to advise them with good words, considered sinful?

Anger for the sake of Allah's religion is commendable, but the default rule concerning participation with those who mock Allah's verses is prohibition, based on the Almighty's saying: "So do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, in that case, you would be like them." However, participation is permissible with the intention of preventing or minimizing their evil, which aligns with piety towards Allah, for the Almighty said: "And when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter into another conversation." If a person enjoins good and forbids evil to them, there is no blame upon him. As for insulting them, it is not permissible because it increases their evil, as the Almighty said: "And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge." A Muslim must defend Islam and advocate for it to the best of their ability, while arming themselves with knowledge and wisdom before debating disbelievers.
