How can one reconcile the Hadiths that indicate that the land of Resurrection is in Al-Sham and that it is a white land, with the noble verse (On the Day when the earth will be changed to other than the earth, and so will be the heavens, and they will appear before Allah, the One, the Irresistible), and the Hadith of the Jew, whom the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, answered by saying: "They are in the darkness below the bridge"?

There are two types of gathering (Hashr): a gathering in this world and a gathering in the Hereafter. The worldly gathering occurs before the Hour is established, and one of its signs is a fire that emerges from Aden or Hadhramaut, driving people towards Sham, as mentioned in authentic hadiths. As for the gathering in the Hereafter, it will occur after people are resurrected on the Day of Judgment, on a white, reddish-white land different from this earth, as mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah (definition).
