Is it permissible to slaughter the 'Aqiqah on Eid al-Adha, or to commission someone to slaughter it without being present at the time of slaughter?

Since the seventh day from birth has passed, there is no impediment to sacrificing the aqiqah at any time or place, and it is not a condition for its owner to witness its slaughter. It should not be sacrificed along with the udhiyah if that would lead to its spoilage and waste of money. It is recommended to give charity and gifts from both the aqiqah and the udhiyah.
