Is repentance accepted while continuing to engage in a forbidden profession for a year to pay off debts, or must one stop working immediately?

Working in commercial insurance companies is Islamically forbidden, because it involves assisting in sin, as Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." One must leave this work immediately, and it is not permissible to continue in it except out of necessity, such as fear of imprisonment due to debt. In such a case, it is permissible to work until the debt is paid off, then one must stop, because necessity is estimated by its extent. This ruling also applies to the husband.
