Is working as a receptionist in a hotel permissible or forbidden, and is it permissible to work in what is called a "halal hotel"?

If the job of a "receptionist" entails committing haram (unlawful acts), assisting in it, or witnessing it without denouncing it, then it is impermissible. However, if it does not entail these things, then there is no objection to it. As for "halal accommodation," the consideration is its true nature; if its services adhere to Islamic guidelines and are free from prohibitions, then there is no objection to working there.
