Is it permissible to fast the remaining seven days of the last Ramadan with the intention of an independent make-up to avoid the related fidyah?

It is not permissible to delay making up missed fasts until after the following Ramadan unless there is a valid excuse. Whoever delays it without an excuse, despite knowing it is forbidden, is sinful and must make up the fasts along with paying a fidyah for each day. If the questioner delayed making up the fasts without an excuse and knew it was forbidden, then she must make up 21 days along with a fidyah for 14 of them. This is because the last seven days do not require a fidyah unless she delays them until the next Ramadan. The usual intention for making up fasts is valid. What is required is to fast the seven days before the upcoming Ramadan, and there is no condition for the order of making them up, although it is better to prioritize the earliest ones.
