Are there any Quranic texts or prophetic hadiths that specify the expiation for intentionally breaking the fast in Ramadan as 60 days?

Deliberately breaking the fast in Ramadan is a grave sin. If it is done intentionally through sexual intercourse, then both qada' (making up the fast) and kaffarah (expiation) are required. The expiation is: freeing a slave; if one cannot, then fasting for two consecutive months; if one cannot, then feeding sixty poor people, as stated in the hadith of Abu Hurayrah agreed upon [by Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. As for deliberately breaking the fast without sexual intercourse, only qada' is required, without kaffarah, according to the majority of scholars, along with the necessity of repentance and seeking forgiveness.
