A father is permitted to keep his second wife or divorce her, and his children have no right to object to him or abandon him. If he divorces her, the mother has a greater right to the custody of children under seven years of age, unless she remarries. After the age of seven, the child is given a choice. Custody transfers to the father if the mother's immorality negatively impacts the children's upbringing. If the father wishes to house his children from the second wife with the first wife, the children have no right to object.
