Is the prayer valid with a partial ghusl without wudu when there is doubt about whether the wetness is semen, and one is not certain of janabah?

If a person wakes up and sees wetness, and doubts whether it is maniy (seminal fluid), and then performs ghusl (ritual bath), then their ghusl is sufficient for wudu' (ablution) as long as nothing invalidating wudu' occurs. The Malikis have stipulated that ghusl from janabah (state of ritual impurity requiring ghusl) is sufficient for wudu', even if it later becomes clear that the person was not in a state of janabah to begin with. Therefore, it is even more so the case if the janabah was doubtful. So, ghusl performed with the intention of removing the major impurity or performing an obligation is sufficient for wudu' and permits prayer, tawaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba), and touching the Qur'an, as long as nothing invalidating wudu' occurs after the ghusl.
