Is it permissible for a sister to give her brother from zakat money to complete his marriage and purchase his necessities, as well as to allocate a monthly salary for him after his marriage from the same money, knowing that he cannot marry without it, and it is difficult for her to seek assistance for him as charity?

Marriage is one of the basic needs, and if a person cannot afford its expenses, they are considered among the poor who are eligible to receive zakat (definition). They should be given from zakat according to their needs, without extravagance in non-essential items. A monthly stipend should not be allocated to them from zakat as long as they are capable of earning, except in cases of incapacity or unemployment, in which case they should be given what is sufficient for their needs.
