Is a woman considered pure if she sees white or transparent discharge after menstruation on the sixth day, and then sees normal discharge that is not blood? Does she have to wait until the end of the sixth day to perform ghusl, fast, and pray, or is she purified by what she saw of white or transparent discharge?

A woman recognizes purity by one of two signs: dryness (by inserting a cotton swab that comes out clean) or the white discharge (a white fluid that follows menstruation). If she sees either of these, she has become pure and must perform ghusl (definition) immediately. Some scholars have permitted a woman who experiences dryness within her usual period to wait for a day or half a day to ensure purity, unlike the white discharge which necessitates immediate action. Discharges unrelated to menstruation do not affect purity. If a woman doubts her purity, the default is that menstruation persists, and she is not required to make up the prayers she doubted. She should also ignore obsessive thoughts.
