The answer

A woman knows she has become pure from menstruation by one of two signs: dryness or the white discharge. Once she sees purity by one of these, she must promptly perform (ritual bath), prayer, and fasting. If she then sees blood again within the possible time frame for menstruation, it is considered menstruation, and she reverts to being in a state of menses. She then performs ghusl after this returning blood ceases, as long as the total days of both blood flows and the intervening period of purity do not exceed fifteen days. The purity that occurs within the menstrual period is a valid purity, and she is not required to make up any obligatory acts of worship she performed during it. As for yellowish or brownish discharge after achieving purity from menstruation, it is not considered menstruation unless she sees it during her usual menstrual period. Both are impure and require ' (washing the private parts) and wudu' (ablution).
